The terms, in plain words.

What you get when you make your wedding invitation with us, how it works, and what each of us looks after. If anything here is unclear, write to us and a real person will answer.

Who we are

Santorini Invitations makes digital wedding invitations in Fira, Santorini. You can reach us at info@santoriniinvitations.com.

What you get

• Your invitation in the design you chose, with your names, date, venues, programme and the details you add, at its own private link that opens on any phone.
• A reply form for your guests, with meals and dietary notes if you want them.
• A replies page for you, with the totals, the meal counts and an Excel file, updated as replies arrive.

How it works

You start with your names and your date, then fill in the rest on your own private page, at your own pace. When you press Send, we check everything with you. Your invitation goes live only when you are happy with it, and only then can your guests open it.

You are the one who checks that the details are right before it goes live: names, dates, times, venues and, if you add them, your bank details. We will always fix a mistake for you, and we never change anything without asking.

The price

The price is agreed with you, or with your planner, before your invitation goes live. Nothing is charged through this website.

Changes, and if your plans change

Once your invitation is live, write to us for any change and we make it for you. The link stays the same, so guests who already have it always see the latest version. Small changes, such as a time, a venue or a line of text, are included.

If the date moves, we change it at no cost. If you cancel before your invitation goes live, there is nothing to pay. Once it is live, the price is not refundable, but we will always take the invitation down if you ask.

Your link and your guests

Your invitation is private: it is not listed anywhere and search engines are told not to show it. Anyone who has the link can open it, though, so share it with your guests only.

Guests reply without an account, so we cannot promise that every reply was sent by the person it names. If one looks wrong, tell us and we remove it. You can also ask us to close the replies at any time; the rest of the invitation stays as it is.

If you came through a planner

If your planner gave you a code, your invitation is filed under your planner, who can follow it and see the replies. Anything you agreed with your planner about the price is between you and your planner.

How long it stays online

Your invitation and your replies page stay online until 12 months after the wedding, or until you ask us to take them down, whichever comes first. Our privacy note explains what happens to your details after that.

Our designs, your words

The designs, the envelope films, the artwork and the code are ours. Your names, your words and your details stay yours, and we use them only to make your invitation. We never show your invitation to anyone as an example without asking you first.

Please only add words and details that you have the right to share.

If something goes wrong

We work to keep every invitation online at all times, and if something breaks we fix it as fast as we can. We cannot promise that it will never be unavailable, for example if a phone network or a service we rely on fails. If something does go wrong on our side, our responsibility is limited to the price you paid. None of this takes away any right you have by law.

About these terms
